A husband and wife team with 7+ years of hands-on experience with sheep, goats, alpacas, llamas, and pigs across Florida.
How It Started
We started Boomer Husbandry in 2019 because we kept seeing the same problem - Florida livestock owners couldn't find anyone local to shear their animals or trim their hooves. The few shearers who traveled to Florida only came once a year, and if you missed that window, you were out of luck until next spring.
That didn't sit right with us. Animals don't follow convenient schedules. Hooves don't stop growing in August, and wool doesn't care that the traveling shearer already left the state. So we started offering year-round, mobile livestock care across Florida - and we haven't looked back.
Today we work with hobby farmers, fiber farms, 4-H families, pet pig owners, and ranch operations all over the state. Whether it's sheep shearing, goat hoof trimming, or alpaca shearing - every animal gets the same thing: patience, experience, and a gentle hand.
